Not just an Apartment Building, A Community
Pinewood Lodge offers seniors a lifestyle of continued personal growth and community interaction.
Two large courtyards with walkways and benches separate the wings of the building. A large, open living room with luxurious couches, fine wooden tables and a grand piano invites residents to meet, talk, read or simply enjoy the views of the landscaped grounds and the Rocky Mountains.
Residents can entertain guests in their spacious apartments or take walks amid the mountain inspired landscaped grounds. A covered drive at the entrance to the building serves as a comfortable, all weather place to greet guests or wait for family.
Gathering Places
Just through the lobby is a Living Room, a two-story space with a stone fireplace and large windowed wall. The Living Room is a place for residents and their friends to gather and share the events of the day, or just sit back and read a good book. On a cold day, the large fireplace will be a great spot to snuggle up in one of the leather chairs or sofas. Numerous oil paintings and large mirrors are placed throughout this room and the rest of the residence. From the lobby you can take the stairway to your left or one of two elevators to the residences.
The Second Floor Common area allows you to look down into the Living Room or Lobby. To the right of the common area you'll find the Activity & Craft Room and the Library & Game Room.
Activity Settings
In the Activities & Craft rooms residents can learn to paint, do ceramics or numerous other hobbies that interest them. Lots of cabinet storage and a large sink provide space for your projects. Or exercise on the treadmill
Beautiful Outdoor Patio with rocking chairs. Great place to meet friends and family. Spectacular views of the mountains.
The Library & Game rooms are an inviting space with bookshelves, comfy lounge chairs and game tables. Here you can exchange a book in the honors library, or indulge in a rousing game of canasta or bridge. Use this area to meet your friends and join a game club.
On the Third Floor are two additional areas, sure to interest all of our residents. The Mountain View room and our own Beauty Salon & Barber Shop.
The Beauty Salon & Barber Shop. Just think, from now on you don't even need to travel outside the residence for that special haircut, perm or manicure. A professional will be in our salon with a regular schedule, so be sure to make an appointment, this place is likely to be quite busy.
The Mountain View Room is the perfect place to have a birthday party, potluck supper or even a Bronco party. Getting its name from a grand view of the Rocky Mountains, this large room features a large full kitchen, tables and chairs, lounge furniture and a big screen television. This room is large enough to use for many different kinds of events.
As you can clearly see, Pinewood Lodge is not just another apartment building. It is a community, a place you can call home, full of warmth and friendship. A place where we look after each other, help each other when we can and when it is wanted.
